It's been quite a long time since I posted anything at all. Sorry about that. Assuming anyone cares :)
A lot has happened since I last posted. The Iron kingdoms Campaign I talked about in the last post is now over. it lasted 18 months and was a lot of fun. At some point I plan to clean up the notes for the game and post the entire thing just for posterity, but not today.
Today I want to talk about the latest commission I have been working on. The customer requested an IG Armored Company (That's LOTS of tanks for those who don't know.) He also wanted it themed in a Retro style that felt more like Rogue Trader than modern 40K though at home in the modern setting.
After going back and forth for some time we settled for an army based on the fantastic game Necromunda! Gang members pressed into imperial service. For inspiration we looked at the 8th Necromunda "Spyders" from original Rogue Trader 40K. We decided to lose the 80's style stripes in favor of a solid black uniform with red highlights.
As of writing this 2 tanks and 2 of the 10 man squads are complete.
